Beginning with the 2017-2018 year, we are offering to order a “dance uniform” for our students! While the uniform is not required for every class (and recommended attire is described below, under the title for each class), we do ask that all students who participate in Dance Daze Demo Days (which happen 3 times per year, on the last day of each 8-week session) wear their dance uniforms on these days. Demo Days are INCLUDED in the class schedule. The 2017-2018 Dance Daze Demo Days are: November 18, March 24, and June 23. On these days students should wear the uniform outlined below:
- Girls’ Demo Day Uniform (All Classes):
- 1 black short-sleeve leotard ($17.50) OR toddler dance dress ($30.00 — no skirt)
- 1 black slip-on ballet skirt ($11.50)
- 1 pair of pink convertible tights ($8.50)
- 1 pair of pink ballet slippers ($12.50)
- DANCE TEAM ADD-ONS:
- 1 pair of black, slip-on jazz shoes ($25)
- 1 pair of black, v-front, boot cut jazz pants ($16.50)
- Boys’ Demo Day Uniform (All Classes):
- 1 white short-sleeve fitted dance shirt ($21.50)
- 1 pair of black boot-cut dance pants ($33.00)
- 1 pair of black ballet slippers ($12.50)
- DANCE TEAM ADD-ON: 1 pair of black, split-sole dance sneakers ($50)

Creative Movement / Pre-Ballet
Children may wear comfortable clothing that will allow for maximum movement. Loose t-shirts and leggings or shorts are acceptable for boys and girls. Girls may optionally wear a leotard, tights, and ballet skirt of any colors. Ballet slippers, jazz shoes, or bare feet are acceptable. (We do not allow the students to wear only socks or tights to class because this makes it more likely that they will slip while trying to dance. Students should wear dance shoes or be barefooted.) NO JEANS!
Combo Class
Girls should wear a leotard of any color, tights, and ballet slippers or jazz shoes. A ballet skirt of any color is optional for girls. Boys should a wear close-fitting t-shirt of any color, dance pants (such as leggings, men’s tights, convertible suspenders, or shorts), and ballet slippers or jazz shoes. Ladies with long hair should have their hair in a bun and short hair should be neatly pinned down and pushed away from the face. Boys with long hair must have hair pulled back into a pony-tale and pushed away from the face. NO JEANS!
Dance Daze® Dance Team
Students in this class should wear dancewear. Girls should wear a leotard of any color and dance tights. On top of this uniform, girls are invited to wear black yoga pants, jazz pants, or leggings. As an alternative to the classic leotard and tights, girls may wear a plain, solid-colored, form-fitting t-shirt of any color and plain black athletic shorts or black yoga pants, jazz pants, or leggings. Boys should a wear close-fitting t-shirt of any color, black bottoms (such as leggings, men’s tights, convertible suspenders, or shorts). Both girls and boys should wear either black slip-on jazz shoes or black hip hop sneakers. Ladies with long hair must have their hair in a bun; short hair must be neatly pinned down and pushed away from the face. Boys with long hair must have hair pulled back into a pony-tale and pushed away from the face. NO JEANS!
